What this site collects

This is a personal portfolio. I collect visit statistics to understand who finds my work and what they read. I don't sell or share this information, and I don't use it to identify individuals.

Visit statistics

When you open the site, it records:

• the page you viewed, the time, and the site or link that referred you
• approximate location (country, and region or city where available), provided by Cloudflare
• the name of the network you're on (for example an internet provider or an organization's network), looked up from your IP address
• device type, browser, operating system, screen size, language, and time zone
• how long the page was open, how far you scrolled, which sections you reached, and whether you clicked the contact buttons

Your IP address is not stored. Visits are grouped with a pseudonymous ID derived from your network address and browser, which can't be reversed to reveal either. These statistics are kept for up to 12 months and are only visible to me and the person who maintains the site.

Microsoft Clarity

This site may use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use the page, through heatmaps and session recordings of mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks. Clarity sets cookies and processes data on Microsoft's servers under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can block it with most browsers' tracking protection or a content blocker without affecting the site.
